Macarthur Astronomy Forum

Macarthur Astronomy Forum

The Society has attracted high profile guest speakers to it's monthly General Meetings since 1996. Since February 2011, the Meetings have been renamed as the Macarthur Astronomy Forum.

The Forum provides a great opportunity for professional astronomers to reach out to amateur astronomers and to the general public in SW Sydney; and it provides them with an ideal opportunity to disseminate information about their research.

MAS seeks professional astronomers to talk about cutting edge astronomy and we also have spots for competent amateur astronomers to talk on the basics of amateur astronomy. E-mail us at contact@macastro.org.au for details.

The Macarthur Astronomy Forum is part of the MAS Public Outreach Programme and meets on the THIRD MONDAY of each month (except December).

A list of speakers since 2008 follows. Please scroll down to see the current year and look for NEXT.
