Getting There

The turn off from the Hume Highway is obscured by shrubbery on the central reservation. First time visitors must arrive at the Observing site at least one hour before sunset and - if travelling without a gps 'satnav' - should print a copy of the above map to take with them. Kardinia Road into the Forest begins with an immediate 'S' bend and soon after turning onto it you will see a vehicle rest area a short distance in. The road then becomes Bunnigalore Road. The observing site at Daly's Road is approximately 4 km from the main road along an unsealed road on the right. Once you turn on to Daly's Road, the entrance to the observing area is about 40 metres on the right through the gate.
